About
Puck Carrasquillo (b. 2004) is a young performing French hornist from New York, currently based in Boston. While growing up middle class afforded them the privilege of receiving private lessons from other trained professionals, the mentorship received through affordable and public education sectors allowed them to embrace music performance, even when facing financial insecurity. Through that accessible education, Puck found a love for orchestral horn playing, especially through participation in the Long Island Youth Orchestra, and subsequently the Queens College Orchestra. Puck’s mission is to give underprivileged communities the same opportunities to explore classical music that they had growing up.
